Light vs Darkness

Are we united via worldwide paradox?
Ever smirked at a disheveled bloke with bright studs? Or shot that disapproving leer when a heavily tattooed creature emerges through that door? Or even edged slightly-yet somewhat uncomfortably-away when the dude next to you hasn’t got a color matched to your skin tone? Who’s the bad guy now?

Many times we judge a book by its cover. We think all sharp-suited, angelic looking beings are favored bearers of the light. Anything that doesn’t look anything like the ‘bearers of light’ is the ‘lost crowd’. We teach our children to be careful of these ‘bad’ guys: they steal, kill and destroy.

Our children get confused. Their ‘light-bearer’ mates cared only for themselves, even to the point of ass-kissing just to go up the career ladder. To make matters worse, their social lives revolve around strict rules and goals, abiding by which reaps points for the afterlife. Our children aren’t comfortable with these kids because they’re so fake for “who can tell who your real friends are?” And yet we tell our children, “Stay away from friends of the 'dark side'."—yet those very beings are ones who stand by them through thick and thin, rain and shine.

Light or Darkness: Who is which?

My Girls

They were the most adorable creatures I’ve every met. We were the ultimate threesome. The indispensable “Charlie’s Angels”… the inseparable Power Puffs … the whatever that comes in three. Each of us distinctively different with our own unique persona, yet somehow united by our strongest characters—we were young, we were creative, we were risk-takers, we were rebels, we were hard-workers, we were belles of div to the envy of many sore-lasses—ha-ha. In fact, we felt so great and good that we were tempted to take div over by storm!

Alas, before we could even discuss whether to go by armed force or a diplomatic settlement, the BIG SPLIT hit us. I was forced to leave them—a top-down decision. We still kept in touch every once in a while, yes. But things were different. I missed them…so much so that I’d make “accidental” trips to where they were so I could drop by and chat awhile. :D The smiles and laughs were the same, yet I knew they’d changed. We were no longer the magnificent three, but each a magnificent uno.

Me Today: Some Beginning

Days turn to nights in the blink of an eye...

It's the same every day and night that you just feel so sick of how the air tastes so stale. I must have misplaced life. I must have turned the wrong corner. I must have stumbled on a stray rock. ... or haven't I?

People say God lets things happen for a reason. If that's the case, today, I'm still not sure what the reasons are.

Questions after questions, all unanswered yet again, tonight.
